Welcome to Storyline Academy
Where you can develop in-demand skills for the “creator economy” with an emphasis on social-emotional learning. Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can learn the skills to thrive professionally and personally.
At Storyline Academy, we know that mental health and emotional well-being are equally important. So, our program takes trauma into account and focuses on improving mental and emotional health.
Part of the program also includes the opportunity to hear from other community mentors, professionals, and people who are culturally relevant.

I'm Jesse Delgado
When I was an at-risk youth, creativity, and storytelling changed my life.
At a time when my life was headed towards prison, death, or severe addiction, I picked up a camera.
The first thing I began shooting were music videos for my friends and people in the neighborhood.
I fell in love with the craft and eventually found myself doing state-wide media campaigns and working with some of the largest agencies in California, all without any formal education or access.
It changed my life, and now I am committed to bringing that life-saving change to youth who've been placed at risk and system-impacted people who want an exciting career in media and marketing.
My Belief
Every individual has a personal story that is composed of their life experiences. Most at-risk youth have had painful experiences, and the pain manifests itself in destructive ways toward themselves, others, and society at large.
Storytelling helps individuals make sense of their story, separate their identity from their story, and ultimately find empowerment in their story.
